Darlivo is a dating and social app built around a simple idea: the people using a dating app should actually meet each other.
That sounds obvious. But most dating apps today are not designed to help you meet anyone. They are designed to keep you swiping, keep you scrolling, and keep you paying. The longer you stay single, the better their numbers look. We think that is the wrong way to build a product that people trust with something as personal as their love life.
What we believe
At Darlivo, we believe:
A dating app should help you leave the app. Success for us is a user who finds someone and deletes their account, not one who swipes for years.
Real people come first. Every profile on Darlivo is a real person. We moderate actively, we verify accounts, and we remove fake profiles quickly. Safety is a product feature, not a disclaimer.
Simple beats bloated. We don't run feeds, live rooms, game zones, or endless reels. We build the features people actually need to meet someone, and we leave out the rest.
Your data is yours. We collect what we need to make the app work, and nothing more. We do not sell your data, and we do not treat your profile as a product to be traded.
Trust is earned, not assumed. We publish clear policies, take reports seriously, and respond when things go wrong. We'd rather be known for doing the small things right than for marketing we can't back up.
How Darlivo is different
Most dating apps are built on the same formula: show you a stack of photos, let you swipe, charge you to swipe faster. Darlivo is built differently.
Real people, actively moderated. Every photo uploaded to Darlivo passes through our own content moderation system before it appears. Reports are reviewed by real moderators every day. Fake profiles and scam accounts are removed quickly.
Features that matter, not features that fill space. Our core product is focused on the things that actually help people meet: a clean discovery experience, verified profiles, Tinu Moments for sharing who you are beyond a set of photos, and simple messaging that works. We add features carefully, and we remove ones that do not serve our users.
Built for the region we serve. Darlivo is designed with the people of South Asia in mind. We understand the context, the expectations, and the cultural considerations that most Western dating apps miss. We support local payment methods, multiple languages, and interfaces that feel natural for the people we serve.
Independent and self-hosted. We run our own infrastructure, on our own terms. We are not dependent on a single cloud provider, a single investor, or a single revenue model. That independence lets us build the product we believe in, not the product an acquirer would want us to build.
Where we are today
Darlivo launched in Nepal and is now one of the fastest-growing dating apps in South Asia. Thousands of new users join Darlivo every week, and we are actively expanding to new regions and markets.
We are a small team that ships fast. New features roll out regularly, feedback from our users directly shapes what we build, and we respond to what the community needs. If you have an idea for how to make Darlivo better, we want to hear it.
What we are working on next
Our focus for the coming year is on three things:
Expanding carefully to new regions. We are launching Darlivo in new markets thoughtfully, one at a time, making sure the experience is right for each region before we grow further.
Improving safety and moderation. We continue to invest in better tools for keeping the community safe, including better detection systems, faster report handling, and clearer protections for our users.
Building features that help people meet. Every new feature we add goes through one test: does this help real people connect with other real people? If the answer is no, we do not build it.
The team behind Darlivo
Darlivo is built and operated by Darlivo Network LLC, a small independent company. The people behind it have been building software for years, with experience across security, infrastructure, and product design. We care deeply about the quality of the app, the safety of our users, and the long-term reputation of what we are building.
We are not venture-funded, we are not a side project, and we are not a clone of someone else's app. Darlivo is the product we wanted to exist, and we are building it for the long term.
