Child Safety & CSAE Policy

Our commitment to protecting minors from sexual abuse and exploitation on Darlivo.

Last updated: April 10, 2026

Darlivo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We do not allow it, we actively work to prevent it, we remove it immediately when we find it, and we cooperate fully with law enforcement whenever it is reported or discovered on our platform.

This policy explains what we do to keep minors safe and what you should do if you encounter content or behavior on Darlivo that puts a child at risk.

Darlivo is an 18+ platform

Darlivo is a dating and social app for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We enforce this through:

  • An age declaration at signup that users must confirm before creating an account

  • Terms of Use that prohibit anyone under 18 from registering or using the platform

  • Immediate account removal for any user we discover is, or appears to be, under 18

  • Photo verification that helps us confirm a user's profile matches a real adult person

We do not allow minors on Darlivo under any circumstances. A dating app is not a space for children, and we treat any attempt to create an account as a minor, or any attempt to portray oneself as a minor, as a violation of our policies.

What we prohibit

The following are strictly forbidden on Darlivo and will result in immediate account termination, content removal, and cooperation with law enforcement:

Prohibited content

  • Any sexual content depicting, describing, or suggesting a minor

  • Nude, sexualized, or exploitative imagery of anyone under 18, real or computer-generated

  • Sexualized content involving fictional minors, animated characters depicted as minors, or deepfake content

  • Content that glorifies, normalizes, promotes, or defends child sexual abuse in any form

  • Links to, or encouragement to access, any website or service distributing CSAM (child sexual abuse material)

  • Requests for sexual content, dates, or relationships with minors

Prohibited behavior

We also prohibit behavior that puts minors at risk, even if no explicit content is shared:

  • Grooming. Any attempt by an adult to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, manipulation, or meeting in person.

  • Solicitation. Asking a minor for photos, personal information, meeting locations, or any form of sexual contact.

  • Sextortion. Threatening or coercing anyone, especially a minor, to produce or share sexual content.

  • Trafficking. Any activity connected to the sexual trafficking of minors.

  • Impersonating a minor. Pretending to be a minor, or creating accounts portraying minors, regardless of intent.

Violations are treated as violations whether they happen in public posts, Tinu Moments, direct messages, profile content, or anywhere else on Darlivo.

How we detect and prevent CSAE

We use a combination of automated systems and human moderators to keep CSAE off Darlivo:

  • Proprietary NSFW content moderation. Every image uploaded to Darlivo passes through our own moderation system that scans for explicit content. Images that fail this check are blocked before they appear on the platform.

  • Photo verification. Users are encouraged to verify their profile photos so that real adults are easier to distinguish from fake or deceptive profiles.

  • Profanity and keyword filters. Text in Tinu Moments, profile bios, and other public content is filtered for known abuse patterns and terminology.

  • Active human moderation. Our moderation team reviews reported content, flagged profiles, and suspicious activity every day. Decisions are made by real people, not only by algorithms.

  • Account pattern detection. We monitor for patterns associated with account abuse, such as rapid account creation, suspicious interaction patterns, and behavior consistent with grooming.

We are committed to improving our detection capabilities over time. As Darlivo grows, we plan to adopt industry-standard hash-matching technologies used by larger platforms to detect known CSAM automatically.

How to report CSAE on Darlivo

If you see any content or behavior on Darlivo that you believe involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, please report it to us immediately.

In-app reporting

Every profile, post, message, and piece of content on Darlivo has a report button. Use it. When you file a report:

  • The content is flagged for moderator review

  • If we find a violation, we remove the content and take action against the account

  • Serious violations are escalated immediately, often within hours

  • You will not be told who reported the content, and the reported user will not know your identity

Email reporting

For urgent CSAE concerns, or if the in-app report button is unavailable, email us directly at [email protected] with the subject line "CSAE Report". Include as much detail as you can: usernames, profile links, screenshots, timestamps, and a description of what you observed.

We commit to reviewing every CSAE report within 72 hours, and to acting on confirmed violations immediately.

What happens after a report

When we confirm a CSAE violation, we take the following actions:

  1. Immediate content removal. The offending content is taken down from Darlivo.

  2. Account termination. The user responsible is permanently banned. We do not issue warnings for CSAE violations.

  3. Data preservation. We preserve relevant account data, messages, and metadata for a reasonable period so it is available if law enforcement requests it.

  4. Device and IP blocks. We take steps to prevent the same person from creating new accounts.

  5. Law enforcement cooperation. Where appropriate, we refer the matter to local or international law enforcement and respond to any lawful requests for information.

Cooperation with law enforcement

Darlivo Network LLC cooperates fully with lawful requests from law enforcement agencies investigating CSAE. This includes:

  • Responding to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, and mutual legal assistance requests from foreign jurisdictions

  • Preserving user data when asked to do so as part of an active investigation

  • Providing the information necessary to assist investigations, within the limits of applicable privacy law

  • Working with international child safety organizations and reporting networks as needed

While Darlivo is not based in the United States and is not legally required to report to NCMEC under US law, we treat CSAE with the same seriousness as platforms that are, and we will always cooperate with legitimate requests from any jurisdiction.

Our commitment

Darlivo exists to help adults form real connections with other adults. Protecting minors from harm is a responsibility we take seriously, and we treat it as a foundation of our product, not an afterthought.

This policy is reviewed regularly and updated as our platform grows, as new safety technologies become available, and as the regulatory landscape evolves. If you have feedback on this policy, or suggestions for how we can do better, please contact us at [email protected].
